NIKKI PARKER
Artist. Illustrator.
ABOUT
Nikki Parker, aka Absconditus Creations, was destined to live amongst the weird and wonderful after falling into the world on a Friday 13th back in 1983. Growing up with a pencil in hand and fueled by a bizarre imagination, creating became a necessity to stay sane, or close to.
She enjoys experimenting and pushing the boundaries with her artwork. Her work ranges from often dark, always quirky characters to abstract, and whatever sparks her interest in between. She is currently on an illustration journey, for the young, young at heart, and the slightly twisted.
Nikki has been exhibiting sporadically for a number of years both locally within Canterbury and at group shows throughout New Zealand and has acquired a dedicated following of likeminded art enthusiasts, with her art in private and public collections nationally and further afield.
Commissions welcome, studio visits by appointment.
Located in the Canterbury, New Zealand.
